LEADERSHIP/教会牧師

Rev. OHYA Naoto
Senior Pastor
After graduating Kansai School of Child Care and Welfare, worked as a nursery teacher for six years. As I was working as a volunteer worker for homeless and as a gospel musician, I received a calling from God to work as a pastor. After graduating Japan Baptist Theological Seminary, I worked as a full-time pastor of Abiko Baptist Church for 6 years. After that, I served as an associate pastor at Japan Baptist Kashiwa Church for one year, as senior pastor at Tokyo Peace Church for 13 years, and as general Secretary of the Japan Baptist Union for 8 and a half years, a position I hold to this day. I married a woman from the Kachin ethnic group in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
